buttress collapse

A huge portion of this rock fell off (the brown triangle at center) on this rocky ridge above the old Lewis Glacier/Moraine. Two climbers who I spoke with said they saw the initial collapse and said an entire buttress fell off. I was up near the summit when it happened and it sounded like a plane overhead. I saw two smaller and collapses a few hours later from this same spot. This picture was taken from the just off the path between Wing and Lewis Lakes, after all three collapses.
