Fun Summit  Sucess!

I've climbed it many times, sometimes combining it with Snowy Mountain, sometimes approaching it by way of Monument Rock.

Quick and easy, even in a sauna  Sucess!

Second ascent of the day. 90 degrees, 85% humidity; felt like a sauna. The highest point of Chimney Rocks isn't the obvious one, it appears to be towards the southeast. Stand on them all if you're not sure. Descent was quick and easy.

Wonderful Stroll  Sucess!

Started at the Old Forge picnic area and climbed up via the AT. Crossed to the blue-blazed trail via a pipeline and descended that trail past Hermitage Cabin. Chimney Rocks and the foot bridge over the stream next to Hermitage Cabin are two great places to take a break.

Chimney Rocks is da bomb! The summit is really close to the Rocks. First summit of the day.

Haven't done any quality hiking in Pennsylvania in the past few years, but this was one of my favorite places to go.
