Cactus blooms
As I was hiking up Peak 6323 today (beyond Lookout Pass on the Pony Express road), I saw a splash of red on an otherwise colorless slope. This one cactus was trying to do more than its share of providing some beautiful color.

What a great picture Dean! Yesterday was an awesome day to be out in the hills huh? I was up in the quakies and you in the sagebrush. Gotta love Utah!
