The access road to the Trailhead is washed out. This is just off Hwy 75. The far bank is washed out with about a 2ft vertical bank. The water was running about 2ft deep next to the bank on the far side also. You could wade across and hike from here if you don't care that your feet get wet. 4 August 2006

can be everything. Last year in late August, I drove across this river twice and it was running about the same. Get them sandals out, its only a mere 10 miles round trip as reported by Dan Robbins in this trip report:
