Camels Approaching North Ridge Base Camp

Camels Approaching North Ridge Base Camp
Camels Approaching Base Camp for the 1986 American K2 Expedition (Chinese North Ridge) in the Shaksgam River basin. The base camp is the same place that Eric Shipton spent many days at while mapping the region (see "Blank on the Map" by Shipton). The leftmost snowy peak is 6050 meters - and became my first ever significant climb. K2 is in the clouds to the left of this peak.
