Camp Bird Road - higher up
Past Talisman climb (on your left) there are not really easily approachable ice climbs. The photo above shows some short falls, which people usually do not climb on.
I have seen also falls above these ones - more backcountry approach, the base of Potosi Peak, or the opposite side of the canyon (located on private land).

Trying to remember the last time I saw
snowmobile tracks.. hmmmm..

It was 74-degrees in central Arizona today.
Santa will probably be delivering toys in
a tee shirt and flip flops.

Larry, why don't you come and visit... plenty of snow here, and not so far away. What? 6 hrs of driving? :)

My wife said I have an appointment with the
third elf (twice removed) of Santa Claus.

Seems I need to deliver another shipment of
spiced eggnog to him. He already has the rum!

Hmmm.. maybe next year !!! : )

Oh Larry, that sounds like a poor excuse. You could take the train "Polar Express" here runs from Durango to Silverton, AKA North Pole.

looks like your dog is enjoying the scenery, also.
Ouray looks like a great place to play in the outdoors; I have been through there a few times, but never had a chance to do anything fun there!

Eric, I bought Duchess snow boots after this run in the snow. It was so much fun to see her learning to walk in her new boots!
Thanks for visiting.
