Camp on the S side of Davis Peak

Settling in near Point 5872 on the S ridge of Davis Peak. The temperature that kept us comfortable on the climb to here re-inverted overnight. Sometime in the dark of night I checked my thermometer: -22 F / -30 C outside the tent, -18 F / -28 C inside.

On the skyline above the blue tent is Ruby Mountain. Colonial and Pyramid Peaks are on the right-hand edge.
