In Oregon they are

Voted 10/10

called Washington Jays and in Washington they are called Oregon Jays. Neither state wants to claim them. Camp robber also works well for these sometimes pests.

	Voted 10/10	I'm very far from being a "birding" expert. But ... in Canada where my ancestors on my Father's side originated from, these birds are affectionately known as : "Whiskey Jacks" !!! : ) Perhaps 'MountaingirlBC' knows more about how the bird got its name ???
