| Bubba Suess | I welcome relief  | |
| I spent the night in the canyon on the first night of my trip home from Dallas to California. After a year in the Big D, the Gorge was a striking and welcome relief. I have been backpacking in some of the most remote mountains in America, but I have never felt so isolated as when I was in the canyon. Not only was I the only person anywhere near the canyon, but most people don't even know the Gorge exists! | |
