Stony Pass provides a nice high access for several peaks, I did Sheep and Greenhalgh then drove to the pass for Canby and "Stony Pass" before driving back home.
For the main course we climbed South Lookout Peak & "V5" followed by lunch in Silverton. Then took advantage of the lightning-less afternoon and climbed Canby & "Stony Pass Peak" from Stony Pass. There were sheep grazing everywhere and scary guard dogs watching over them. We had to walk through the sheep herd. When we were on Canby, we could see that all the sheep had gathered around my 4runner! Wierd! These have to be the easiest 13ers in the state - about half an our each from the pass! Great views, big bang for your buck.
