On an afternoon loop consisting of Warren, "Warren Fin," Lee Vining Peak, and Canyon Peak. Watched the sunset from here--very beautiful. But I did end up descending and bushwhacking shrubbery & small trees in the dark--not fun.
Well, now two of us have visited this place. While others surely have made the climb in the past, their numbers seem to be very few judging from how pristine the top is. The welcome mat and red carpet isn't rolled out for this peak, the skirt of thick brush alone seems enough to send folks elsewhere. But what a viewpoint! Lee Vining Canyon, the Dana massif, along with points east and west.
"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."
