Overview Waldo Canyon is just west of Colorado Springs on Hwy 24 this is a nice hike about 3 to 3 1/2 hours depending on how many times you stop to take in the views.
This can be a hot hike in the summer..in spring there is water from the snow melt so if you are hiking with your dog there is plenty but it does dry up in summer.
You can bike this trail but the frist part has steep steps and in summer there a lot of people on the trail so the sooner you atsrt the better.
Getting There The trail head is on Hwy 24 just west of Colorado Springs..heading out of the Springs you will see a brown hiking sign on the right side of the road when you see this sign slow down..it's on the right
