| I've made numerous trips to Capitol Reef, this being my favorite of all the red rock parks in Utah because it is the least visited. I have been north, south, east and west in the park and have done several of the hikes and a some of the slot canyons and yet I feel like I've hardly seen the place. A friend and colleague of mine is the great grandson of Elijah Behunin, one of the first settlers in the region and the builder of the Behunin cabin that still sits in the park. | |

| Done a lot of things here...George Benchmark, Halls Creek Narrows, Brimhall Bridge, Muley Twist Canyons, Sheets Gulch, Capitol Gorge, Hickman Bridge, Cohab Canon, Cathedral Valley and more. Still need to do Poe Canyon, Burro and Cottonwood Washes, Ferns Nipple, The Castle, EPH Hanks Tower and Chimney Rock! | |
