Capulin improved
New software and better slide scanning technique have allowed me to bring out more of the shadow detail that was actually in the original slide. Not wanting to delete the original submission, I have submitted the improved version merely to illustrate what I saw through the viewfinder.

I've changed the Capulin Volcano signature image to one of my own--primarily because I like the primary image to show the mountain itself. I've also placed this image prominently on the page. If you'd rather I use your prior version of this image, let me know. They both are quite good. --mark d.

Please use the Capulin improved image. More recent technology has provided me with more detail from the original slide. Thanks. Charles Baxter
