Carlsbad with the kids
Descended via the natural entrance and walked the Big Room loop. Used the self-guided tour audio, which adds a lot. Never gets old, being in that environment.
After climbing at Sitting Bull Falls we stopped here. Pretty amazing. I wanted to descend deep down those rickety ladders but the real goods were off limits.

Carlsbad Cave
Visited here twice. Lots to see. Better with a guide.
Cool place wasn't too crowded because we were there later in day. Saw a sweet rattlesnake in parking lot. great weekend, white sands, guadalupe peak, and carlsbad caverns.
Got there too late to hike in or out. But walking around there was amazing. We were there on a pretty busy day, but the caverns are massive and there's plenty of room to set up for photos or just take it in.

Cool caverns
We did this as a combined leg of our trip with Guadalupe Mtns. I've never been inside a cave, and it was eerily beautiful. Combined it with the constant 58 degree temp, I could stay down there for a while. Had to take the elevator up though, which sucked! The hiking path out was already closed.

This is a must visit location! Went after hiking Guadalupe/El Capitan. Took the guided tour and then walked down the bat entrance to the big room. Just awesome!!!!

Sweet big cave!
Toured this cave and really enjoyed it. Its like nothing I have ever seen before and very very big. I would always enjoying going back for visit!

With LaryngitisTook my little kids into the caverns and I was unable to talk or yell, very unnerving. Cool stuff! Too bad we missed the bats.

AmazingNothing I can write can explain how sick this cavern was. No other alternative other than going and seeing it for yourself.
