Great Shot

I kept hoping to find a good spot to capture this peak but unfortunately it eluded me.

This was the first big peak we climbed on our trip. I was totally amazed by all the shell fossils on the route above 8500 feet. Actually, the main vein we found them in is where you can see the line of snow near the top of your picture.

Lucky you getting to climb there. What you found would make sense from what I've read. All the visible striation in the mountains was amazing to me. Maybe I can get back to see those fossils sometime.
