| My first winter climb to this special mountain. Amazing sunny day and a lot of effort in the snow of ramp south. Some ice plates in the north traverse under the south summit (crampons and ice-axe very usefulls). Spectacular landscape in the summit with the peaks of Belagua (Anie, La Mesa...), Oza (Peña Forca, Alanos,...), Hecho (Bisaurin,...), Gourette-Ossau (Gabizos, Lurien, Midi d'Ossau...), Canfranc (Collarada, Aspe, Anayet,...), Tena (Balaitous, Infiernos, Garmo Negro, Tendeñera...), Vignemale and Ordesa (Perdido). | |

| I' ve climbed this mountain for three times. It's really very nice. It's looks like an open book. You can see a lot of " lirios" in summer. Lobelia. | |

| A really nice climb in a hot summer day. Quite steep in the entrance to the Castle and when getting out of the forest. Otherwise, no real difficulties. | |

| Solo climb to this magnificent mountain enjoying of good views of the whole Western Pyrenees in a sunny day. It does not have technical difficulties in summer but it overcomes an acceptable difference for what it is a not contemptible at all mountain that rewards us with the magnificent spectacle of appearing inside the sinclinal that composes this fortress since it is a not habitual image in the Pyrenees. I do not believe that anybody feel defrauded for winning to this summit. Undoubtedly I will return. spanish: Ascensión en solitario a esta magnífica montaña disfrutando de buenas vistas sobre todo el Pirineo occidental en un día soleado. No tiene dificultades técnicas en verano pero supera un aceptable desnivel por lo que es una montaña nada desdeñable que nos recompensa con el magnífico espectáculo de asomarse dentro del sinclinal que compone esta fortaleza ya que es una imagen poco habitual en el Pirineo. No creo que nadie se sienta defraudado por vencer a esta cumbre. Sin duda, volveré otra vez. | |
