Hasn't voted | Yes indeed. I want to go back this fall! | | Posted Jun 18, 2009 8:09 pm |
| TheRootster | Nice profile! | |
Hasn't voted | Impressive! I've done Wheeler Peak, Guadalupe Peak, and Boundary Peak--lovely if not particularly challenging. My other high points so far are Whitney, Rainier, Gannett, Borah, and Humphreys. Still left: Elbert, Hood, Granite, Kings, Mauna Kea, and, ooo-la-la, Denali. I like distance running too. I've done one half marathon and want to do at least one full marathon. Probably not this year but maybe next. >>"Did I mention that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this site?!"<< It is fantastic, isn't it?! | | Posted Jun 19, 2009 9:33 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thank you Rootster. And your profile is impressive as well. Rainier.... I'm really excited to do that one. Just not sure when I can get out there to tackle it. I think Wheeler will be next since it's fairly close to TX. Have you picked out a marathon to do next year yet? The San Diego Rock & Roll Marathon was my favorite. Excellent crowd support and great live music the whole way. Fun even though I was hurting at the end. (My time was 4:06) | | Posted Jun 20, 2009 12:49 pm |

Hasn't voted | I grew up there and go back once or twice a year, so for some reason, doing a marathon there doesn't seem particularly appealing...too familiar or something. I was actually leaning toward Portland. | | Posted Jun 21, 2009 12:29 pm |
