Catinaccio After Dark
It took us slightly longer to get from Fiè to Rifugio Bolzano than we expected... but the views after the sun had set were worth the effort. The Cima de Catinaccio and surrounding towers are lit by the sky alone, three quarters of an hour after sunset, from below Monte Pez on the Sciliar (September 2006).
