these growing speleothemes on a pink (colours are real)stalactite created a weird effect. (Suttaterra De Su Predargiu's cave, Mount Serra Oseli, Sardinia)

haha ..LOL...!!!
you know cave guides are so strict about it: don't touch stalagmites or you'll stop/spoil the dripping.
but...er...i swear i didn't touch'em, just tasted a couple. Mhhhhh, limestone!!

oh, you know... passion is passion, anyway. the only difference is that I rappel and then ascend when you do the opposite, and I generally do it in the dark. caving is like a sort of downwarded alpine climbing, LOL. KIDDING.

We have UNDERSTANDING. I remember when I hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. First you go DOWN, then ... back up! Native Americans refer to it as: "THE MOUNTAIN LYING DOWN." Grazie!! Thanks for the photos! You have MORE ?
