| My wife and I never thought much of this little bump, but this weekend, we decided that we wanted to see what it was all about. It's definitely small and short as mountain trails go, but surprisingly enough, it was pretty serious about gaining elevation at times. The cute little summit has a log bench and a US Geo marker with typos, which adds to the charm. | |

| I really needed to take my dog for a walk, and it was a nice enough day for a short woodland jaunt. Great view from the summit. We encountered some of the largest frogs/toads I had ever seen on this side of the state, during the descent. | |

| I can't say that this is one of my favorites. But it's a good close in year-round exercise hike. Extra mileage can be added by walking farther on the railroad path. Or by combining with Rattlesnake. | |
