| This is a great loop and has been my favorite nearby hike. Already hiked it 4 times this year. I go up Cedar Run then up Hawksbill, over the horse trail, down the fire road and return via White Oak. Seem to be about a 10 mile loop. This past weekend in the 90 degree heat the waterfall water was refreshing to dip the feet into but still too cold for some swimming. | |

| Definitely a much more challenging way up Hawksbill and well worth it. | |
