Central part of Jezera; a vast and high undulating grassy plateau on the North Velebit. Jezera is plural of the word Jezero (Lake) and it got its name because of the few ponds that remain after rains at the bottoms of several funnel shaped depressions. Jezera is on the altitude between 1400-1500m. Krasno route towards Zavizan hut leads over it. In winter on Jezera it seams like you are surfing on the White Ocean and gentle rolling waves are passing by.
