Climbed this one from a dirt road branching off to the south from CR 279, with my dog, Marjean. Started out intending to wrap around the summit counter-clockwise and approach the top from the south, but found a good route right up the northeast ridge. Loose, broken rock gives way to less loose, steeper rock before popping out on the summit. Great little climb which took less than two hours.
Approached from northwest after climbing Cerro Cochino. Scrambled directly to the summit up north face. Traversed to the second summit and descended southwest ridge. Fun scramble, nice weather, great views.
Beautiful, fun summit. We approached from the north, hiked up to the bench on the mountain's east side, then ascended the south summit via its southeast ridge. The ridge scrable to the main summit was a blast. We descended a west-side gully near the south summit.
"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."
