Via Central Face Gully Variation
Solo climb of Cerro Parido via central west face gully variation (shown as Route #1 in the overview photo). Lots of loose rock and cacti with some 5.6 moves. Downclimbed the standard route.
After over 4 years since my last attempt, I finally made the summit. David, Sierra, and Jessica came along as we explored this interesting monument to volcanic glory of eons past. The climb itself was rather short (around 50 m) with loose rock and only one or two moves of 5.6.

Ran Out of Time
it was a bad decision to start from the northeast and it took us way too long to get to the rock climbing part. We had to abandon our plans for the summit when we ran out of water. Anyway, we were two hours late for dinner with our parents.
