Winter chains......are quite an issue these days in my little corner of the world, too! ;-)

Re: Winter chains...I never had to use those on 4WD car, but the road was iced up under the snow.

Great job, Liba..Some people forget to put the elastic
tensioner on, and their chains fly off.
This is very impressive. Safe driving is
a skill learned by many, but only practiced
by just a few.

Re: Great job, Liba..wow, you know so much about chains Larry. I thought that life in Arizona does not require that knowledge.

Re: Great job, Liba..No, this is not about me..
YOU are practicing a very good example, by
putting on chains and keeping yourself safe.
I am extremely proud of you..

Re: Great job, Liba..Oh, good... I don't feel safe driving since I am still a beginner. Did not get my driver's license until almost 30.

Re: Great job, Liba..Don't feel bad! My wife didn't get her
driver's licence until almost 40.
And, she still cannot put chains on..

Re: Great job, Liba..Oh, it makes me feel much better:)
She does not need chains in Arizona. Does she like snow at all?

Re: Great job, Liba..Yes, she does.. as long as the snow remains
outside, and she is inside, preferably curled up to a nice, warm fire.
Kind of like a cat.. : )
