Hey rpc,

Yes, dogs are allowed in the entire area from Alpental to Snow Lake and the surrounding mountains, including the Tooth and Chair Peak . Although, officially, dogs are supposed to be on a leash. I've been back in that area about a half dozen times, mostly during the winter and have seen dogs without leashes, and have not run in to rangers. I'm guessing summer may not be as lenient.

Do they allow dogs in that area - I know they're allowed near the Tooth, so I'm guessing Chair peak vicinity should be OK as well? Is that right?

Thank you.
