Chalung Ri (6767m) – northeast face Chalung Ri is located on the Tibetan side of the Langtang Himal, around 50km northwest of Shisha Pangma and 40km north of the Nepal border. Location: Lat 28°39'30" Lon 85°25'54" Prominence 927m. Chalung Ri has never been climbed. Picture taken from the southern shores of Pelkhu Tso lake, Lat 28°46'15.20"N Long 85°31'53.8"E, alt. 4606m, looking SW. Another picture showing the NW face of Chalung Ri can be found here.
