Overview

I moved back to Chamonix in November, intending to stay for all of 2006. In terms of skiing, the winter was pretty miserable for a variety of reasons. Bad weather, a general bigger disappointment than envisioned in the state of Chamonix lifts and powder possibilities, and somehow a lot less climbing than I'd hoped for all served to bring me down. But we did get some great days in, started more into vertical ice climbing, and through it all had a good group of friends to support me through.

And it ain't over yet... ;-)
