Is an ancient barrack of nineteenth century. The whole area is full of these structures.

Nice contrast. Looks like those pine trees (if that's what they are) are dying. Are forests there suffering from beetle infestations like they are here?

Thank you very much,
i dont know if they are sick, but the following spring they were of a green intense colour. I know that in Susa valley there are problems for acid rain and consequences of forests diseases.
Now, in these days, is also arrived radioactivity from Japan.

Those are not pine but larches. It's their normal color in autumn and have no leaf in winter
