Thanks, come up anytime, I love playing field guide. Used to live in Gainesville, GA and run up and down Brasstown Bald for training. Great add. Beautiful mountain, particullary in the fall.

afraid not, those I would have taken would have been of my girls in the lookout area when they were little, I used to take them up there all the time. Any of those shots would be negatives stashed away somewhere...the time before digital, seems like ages ago...cheers!

Is there an established route up the central ridge/rib casting the shadow in your picture? Looks like an interesting class 4/5?

good question JW, not that I am aware of.... that gully would take it's share of rock fall.....pretty rotten area on both sides of Chester, cheers
