"CHIEF MOUNTAIN"- MOUNTAIN OF LEGENDS-GLACIER NATIONAL PARK-MT
"Chief Mountain" is steeped with Native American Legends and Tradition. It is said that native american warriers would climb to the top and seek visions. Evidence of these Vision Quests have been found on the summit plateau by climbers.
This image was taken in late July, 2008. Besides my wife, the audience was about 15 head of cattle, who encouraged me.

this is perhaps the best photo I have seen of Chief Moutain. I climbed it in July 2010 and the views from the summit are spectacular.
