chimney crux

The crux of the chimney is right here at the base. There's a chockstone with an overhang that makes the direct assault difficult. You can climb the wall on the left (far left in the photo) then make a delicate side-step right. This crux first part has been rated 5.4. Or you can bypass it altogether on Class 4 rock (see here).
