...are incredible here! All these shades of pink the sunset created, the top in dazzling gold color, plus the blue of the ice and the sky...what a composition!

Well this one Eric was more about pacing in the cold while Jackie was wondering if something had happened to me. I left the tent 15 minutes too early and that seemed like a long time while waiting for the sunset.

The day before Jackie and I had climbed part way up the low ridge near base camp to try and photograph the sunset. I left too late and missed it. So I made sure that I would be ready to catch the next one.

In the future I may do more planning around the photographs than the climbing and bring more equipment etc.

Thank you BLong. I'm fairly sure all my shots that I have up are from my Panasonic LX3. It's a great little camera with a very fast lens and it's very light.
