Thanks -- that's what it is. The link on the mountain page takes you to some info about the track. However, drove by it for years and never knew it was there until we climbed Chuckwalla.
The track visible from Chuckwalla is the Honda Proving Grounds. The Hyundai Proving Grounds isn't too far away though; it's further south, just east of the Mojave airport.
