Church Mountain Exposure

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Church Mountain Exposure
This is a sample of what can be expected for those that choose to attempt the true summit of Church Mountain. The summit block is covered with a lot of loose rock and in many places the strata is down-sloping. This combination of down-sloping layers, loose rocks, and exposure makes for a dangerous scramble which should only be attempted by the more experienced climbers. Photographed July 24, 2010.
