Overview

NE wall of Cimerlo and E wall of Cima della Stanga

Cimèrlo is the most at south mountain of the main range of Pale di San Martino. It's preceded at north by Cima della Stanga. Its mass is formed by a great number of towers and pinnacles, among which we indicate Torri Orientali del Cimèrlo, on Pradidali side, Berretta del Vescovo and Lasta del Sol on Cismòn side, Primo and Secondo Campanile del Cimèrlo, Sass Colombai, Torre della Gusela, Gusela del Cimèrlo.
The normal route to Cimèrlo is easy ( 1st degree ). You must start from Al Velo Hut m 2358, follow the marked path that leads towards Cima della Stanga and Via Ferrata " Dino Buzzati " up to a cross that connect Sentiero del Cacciatore with Via Ferrata Dino Buzzati, on Pradidali side. You follow this last Via Ferrata, marked with n. 747, up to the eastern shoulder of Cimèrlo, at m 2480 of altitude. Here you leave the path and go up on the right along easy rocks. Gone beyond a little saddle, continue and in few minutes you arrive to the top.

TIMES OF RANGE : Al Velo Hut m 2358 - start of the route = h 1.30
