Dow, much thanks for the good word Sir! So what did you climb down in Moab? I can only imagine how good the weather must have been...
Cheers!

you are right Radek, perfect (zero wind in Arches)...trees perfect on the drive over as well, had daughter and son in law in tow, so more of a tourist trip..went through Capitol Reef, Fruita was lit up in fall colors...took them up the Pengiuns (5.9 and 5.10c), Owl, then then just Wallstreet...did some nice hikes...short trip, just a weekender, cheers

Miss the desert. Dow, you think Zion is tolerable end of Nov. (I mean in an average year of course)?

It would be a hit or miss Radek. You just need to be flexible, willing to do south facing Red Rocks or St. George if you had to. Springdale lacks sun and is at a higher elevation, so much cooler than we are that time of year. Iron Messiah is south facing, would be a good option. You are welcome to use us as a base and figure it out or day trip it from here. Cheers.

Dow - thank you very much for the info. and your generous offer. Guess, we'll call it two days before depending on forecasts :) Will let you know if we end up down there. Take care.
