The famous Cinque Torri are appealing from everywhere. Beautiful towers, rising from the plateau above Cortina d'Ampezzo are a well known playground for climbers, coming from near and far. But it is rare that they appear in such a beautiful light as here, when we were admiring them from the summit of Averau. A pleasant sunny summer day, some people hiking, some climbing, others just enjoying after being transported by a cable-car on the plateau. And the five proud towers above all this. July 8th, 2007.

Hasn't voted | Thanks for your nice words! I'm not so emotionally attached to this climbing place (I am to Dolomites), but I also think that this picture is fine :)
