Hasn't voted | Misha-You are one that does not frequent my pages, so your post and kind vote caught my attention. I know you will enjoy Colorado some day when you manage a visit. Looking at your pictures, I know and understand why you will always be true to the Sierras. They are truly beautiful and they are certainly your "home" as the Colorado Rockies are mine. Your passion for the Sierras is evident in your excellent photography. Believe me when I say I understand that you'll always be true to your home (but if you do it right, you're going to love Colorado).

Voted 10/10 | Thank you for your kind words, Aaron! You are right, I am in love with the Sierras. However, I would really like to come to CO, maybe even next summer. If you guys organize another SP gathering, please let me know. I would love to come over. One of my mid term objectives is the Lambs Slide to the Notch Couloir route on Longs Peak. Of course if you ever come to California and want to have a good time in the Sierras, give me a shout!

Voted 10/10 | Good job Aaron, I've always known of Cirque from the cover photo of Dawson's 14er San Juan book. Looks like a great hike for shots of Sneffles.

Hasn't voted | Thanks Randy. Hopefully the fee system thing will be worked out by summer. Fees work for some places, like Mount Evans' highway, but in my opinion, it only hurt Ouray and most of the townsfolk are against it. Time will tell. Thanks for the vote!

Voted 10/10 | I missed this when you first posted it Aaron. A lovely tribute to your friend. Very nice. I'm 54, so that part hit home.. The implied: live life fully and be happy with our good fortune. It sounds like Rich was able to do that. Sorry to hear of his loss.
