Great trail (road)
Truly beautiful oak woodland and chaparral on the way up. Got very hot on the exposed portions, though, despite it being mid-spring. Was not crowded on a weekday and even less so in the afternoon - maybe due to the heat?

Many timesHave done this route many times. Usually bike it. A great longer training route without the long mountain drive.
