Hiked up Clark Peak from the Pierre Lakes Basin. After reaching the summit, we started to traverse the ridge line towards Capitol, but a big storm came in and we had to back off. We were hoping to check out the possibility of accessing Capitol via the rock chute in between the two peaks.
This is one of my favorite 13ers. Climbed the west ridge right after Capitol & Daly from a camp below Moon Lake. It was a long, exhausting day. The ridge was narrow and exposed in places but the rock was fairly solid.
