I camped at Meadow Lake and did a day hike toward Old Man but we didn't have time. I was researching the route from Sterling Lake to Old Man and your site fit the bill: good description,good photos, and details. The Sterling route looks a little difficult for some of my group. I live in Grass Valley and Sterling is a heck of a lot closer than Meadow. We'll see
