Done this route twice  Sucess!

First time I did on May 2009, it was a part of '4 peaks (Juniper, Gunsight, Rainbow and Wilson) in 1 Day' hike with Branch Whitney. My leg cramp up on the way up the Cleaver Crack.

The second time I did on May 2010, we scrambled up the Dead Horse Pt. and South Summit. Then bag the peak and descent the cleaver Crack.

Cleaver Crack route  Sucess!

Rediscovery of fabled route. Brandon and Davis had done most of preliminary work on finding the route. Brandon and I tried to complete it and passed by the face climb getting to Wilson's Perch. On the return, I discovered the face climb and went up and back twice to optimize it and show it to Brandon. (Did I mention the trailhead is 10 min from my home!!)

some snow  Sucess!

Well, actually I descended that way -- came up via the south side slabs/bowl of Wilson. I remember there was a lot of wet ice down low, in the places you call "ampitheater" and "1st falls"; the ice gave it a special creepy feel.

I recognize most of the characters in the photos. That must be the Hiking Las Vegas group.
