In August, my friend Jen and I went to the First Annual Boulder Bash, sponsored by Mountain Adventure Seminars (MAS). Jen wanted to attend the gear clinics, I wanted to attend the self rescue clinics and it was Jen's birthday. Good reasons to go.

Once we were there, Jen decided to enter the bouldering contest. She came in third and won fifty dollars! I didn't enter the bouldering contest, but did score a nice backpack in the raffle, maintaining my winning streak. (So far I have won a Patagonia shell, a nice pair of hiking boots, 2 backackpacks, several gift certificates and some smaller prizes such as hats in various climbing drawings!)

These are a few of the pictures I took during the weekend.
