is it really this steep?

Awesome shot--really gets the adrenaline pumping. But makes the climbing look harder than 5.4. Looks like your partner rotated the camera a bit. I rotated it to flatten the horizon and post the result below. Just trying to see if this route is for me --- is the rotated version about right? It still looks pretty damn steep!

You guys should like it. Once attaining the ridge, it is mostly 4th to easy 5th class. There isn't as much exposure (in most places), as say Conness' W Ridge, & it isn't as sustained (one must go around various towers along the way)- but it's looooong, with great views. Start early & move fast, to avoid a bivy!
