| Yet another great trip with "Asphazell" and a great way to get into shape for more climbing! We needed snowshoes most of the day. | ||

| Tim Heckel | Traver SW face ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 15, 2008 | |
| Climbed Traver via the SW face. Roach 13er book calls this a moderate snow climb at 34 degrees, it is certainly steeper in spots. Nice -long- snow climb, sustained for 2,000' vertical. We traversed over McNamee to Clinton. Decended via the SW face of McNamee. | ||

| Asphazell | Clinton, McNamee, & Traver ![]() Date Climbed: May 24, 2008 | |
| A very fun snow climb up Clinton, ridge stroll to McNamee, and some scrambling (which is optional)to tag Traver made a perfect day in the mountains. Weather was outstanding, as was the company (Altitude14er) | ||

| shanahan96 | welcome to winter ![]() Date Climbed: Dec 22, 2007 | |
| started winter off right by summiting mcnamee and clinton. conditions were downright brutal(zero degrees, 40-55mph winds and -35 to -45 windchill) and had me thinking i somehow wandered into alaska! passed on traver to escape further misery. some other time..... jamie | ||

| Ascended Clinton from Clinton Amphitheatre. Traversed out and back to Traver. Attempted Bartlett from the Bartlett/Clinton saddle but could not figure out a safe approach to the summit block along the incredibly complicated east ridge. | ||

| Eric Holle | Route Climbed: CT Clipper Date Climbed: November 4, 2006 ![]() | |
| Long trip from Montgomery Resevoir. Plenty of snow in all the peaks and ridges, solid snow conditions up some of the couliors. Poor visibility made rountefinding challenging. | ||

| Ryan Kowalski | Clinton to Traver ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 16, 2001 | |
| A nice place, although that hike in is somewhat obnoxious due to the numerous jeeps/waterholes/mudpits/ankle twisters. I love the Wheeler Lake area though. | ||

| Fun traverse, but too many jeepers on the Wheeler Lake trail, do this one when the road is covered in snow. | ||

| Did the Clipper tour of Clinton, Traver, McNamee with quite a bit of snow above 12K' for late Oct. 1-3' of snow cover was consistent. This was a CMC hike with a group of 12 that turned out to be a long day of nearly 10 hrs! | ||

| miztflip | Route Climbed: From Wheeler Moutain Date Climbed: 1 September, 2005 ![]() | |
| Strolled over to this trio after a scramble on Wheeler's South Ridge. Linking them all up was a great tour of the area. Long, but easy hike in from the 2wd TH. Not a clould in the sky nor a hiker on the trail, besides ME. | ||

| ColoradoScott | Route Climbed: Traver East Ridge to Clinton Loop Date Climbed: July 29, 1984 ![]() | |
| A nice high tour, but a long approach and hike out from the 2WD Trailhead at Montgomery Res. There was still much snow in the higher mountains that year and we had great glissades on the descent of this tour, all the way down to the 4WD TH. We didn't see many vehicles, but one 4WD was stuck in a marshy area up past it's axles. | ||

| Started early and had mostly sunshine (and wind) my whole time out in the mountains. Was able to summit all three mountains; had great views! Got out just before the snow started falling in the afternoon. | ||
