Cloud being held back by Striding edge. This was taken a long time ago, i slipped and slid for a few hundred feet, lucky not to get hurt big time. I then decided crampons and axe were not such a bad idea.

I saw someone take a nasty fall off Swirral Edge in similar conditions last year. Same sort of nick as in your photo. Not wearing crampons...

Yep, mountain experience is a great thing to have.The lakes 'rock' in winter!

I've done striding and swirral in both crampons and no crampons in conditions like this and worse and soon realised I needed to get myself a pair, I've done this climb 9 times but 6 times in conditions such as this, people don't realize how truly dangerous this mountain is even more so in winter.
