Crater Lake 7 Summits on the rim proper
Climbed as part of our 7 summits on the rim proper. Started with a double of Garfield Peak and Applegate, followed by a double of The Watchman and Hillman Peak, then Llao Rock, CloudCap, and Dutton Cliffs as singular climbs.
As noted in other posts, the true summit is the high point to the south of the parking area. Pretty easy hike through the trees. View from the top is mainly Mt. Scott to the east. Around 1 mile round trip.

Went up the western sub-summit the day before but a developing storm prevented me from getting the true summit that day. Came back the day after for the true summit.

Snowy SummitMy nephew and I tagged this quick summit on our way to the trailhead for Mt Scott. Trudged through about 3" of snow that had fallen the night before.
