Cloud Peak seen from Lake Helen

When approaching Cloud Peak from the south, the mountain never presents an obvious face. This photo actually shows the summit of the peak. It is to the right of the highest looking hump to the right of the cliffs that are against the skyline on the farthest visible land. The route leads up onto the plateau on the left, then across the narrow looking ridge, then around the corner and toward the skyline. September 3, 2006.
